A series of videos capturing writing in the small hours. The letters relate how habits of writing shape what is written and reflect upon the processes of note taking, inscription, transcription, letter writing and playing the guitar.
The five letters are: Guitar and Balloon, The Here-and-Now Word, Glue Ear, With, Dear Alice.
Produced in collaboration with the artist Isobel Lutz-Smith.
The letters are also published with a series of ‘writing exercises’ available from MAP Editions.
